Difenatil 500mg is a medicine whose active ingredient is paracetamol and is both an analgesic and an antipyretic. It comes in a pack of 20 tablets.
Difenatil is an analgesic and antipyretic medicine, so it is used to treat symptoms associated with pain (toothache, muscle pain, back pain, headache) and also to reduce fever.
If after 3-5 days of taking Difenatil the symptoms persist or worsen, you should see a doctor.
Difenatil can be taken by adults and children from 12 years of age and weighing 33 kg or more.
You can take 1 tablet of Difenatil every 6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose and do not take more than 3 g of paracetamol per day.
Do not take Difenatil if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine. Also do not take it if you suffer from liver, kidney, cardiovascular or respiratory problems, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency or if you are taking any medicine to treat epilepsy.
As with all medicines, Difenatil may cause side effects: malaise, hypotension, increased transaminases, kidney disease, blood disorders, allergic reactions.
Do not exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day. Consult your doctor if you are undergoing treatment for any pathology.
The active ingredient in Difenatil is paracetamol, so each tablet contains 500mg of paracetamol. The active substance is accompanied by the following excipients: povidone, pregelatinised maize starch and stearic acid.
