Daofood Plus by Dr. Healthcare is a product indicated when there is a deficiency of the enzyme Diamine Oxidase (DAO). This deficiency manifests itself with digestive and dermatological symptoms. Daofood helps to minimise these symptoms, characterised by atopic and dry skin, and even helps to reduce muscular discomfort. This product contains quercetin which is a flavonoid with antihistamine properties. It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, helps control blood sugar and prevent cardiac disorders. In addition, this supplement provides vitamin C, which contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage and to the normal functioning of the immune system.
These gastroresistant pellet capsules with DAO are controlled-release. This allows the acid pH of the stomach and intestine to consume it prematurely. The pellets ensure the release of the active ingredients. One capsule has four pellets: 2 white/beige DAO pellets, 1 brown vitamin C pellet and 1 green Quercetin pellet.
