Cystaid Canine supports the urinary health of the dog as it is a therapeutic dietary supplement specially formulated to help maintain and regenerate the protective glycosaminoglycan layer of the bladder.
It helps to control minor lower urinary tract disorders in dogs and can be used in animals with bouts of cystitis or haematuria or as maintenance therapy in dogs susceptible to these conditions.
Some dogs are unable to produce N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, which is a precursor of the glycosaminoglycans that line the bladder mucosa. This lack of protective coating results in dysuria, increased permeability and inflammation of the mucosa.
With Cystaid, manufactured by Vet Plus Laboratories, levels of N-acetyl-D-glucosamine are increased, helping to maintain the protective mucous layer of the urinary bladder. In addition, the capsules are designed to be easily opened and added with food, making them easy to administer. They contain an exquisite tasting powder for your pet.
