"Cosmopor silicone contact layer absorbent adhesive dressings are non-active, single-use, self-adhesive, sterile, semi-permeable, self-adhesive dressings (thin hydrocellular dressings) consisting of a non-woven backing material (backing material) and a pad, both covered by a perforated silicone adhesive film and protected by a silicone adhesive film.They consist of a sheet of non-woven backing material (backing material) and a pad, both covered by a perforated silicone adhesive sheet and protected by a film. The main parts of this product are:

- Backing/backing material: a white non-woven fabric.

- Medical grade adhesive: Silicone adhesive.

- Pad with three layers: a first wound contact layer made of polyethylene mesh, a second layer for exudate transmission made of viscose, and a third absorbent, porous layer made of a non-woven fabric with superabsorbent fibres.

- Film: plastic protective film in contact with the adhesive side of the product. The products do not contain resorbable components, drugs or pharmaceutical substances (whether derived from human blood or plasma or not), tissues or cells of human or animal origin, radioactive substances, nanomaterials or other hazardous components. The dressings are individually packaged in peelable pouches and packed in folding cartons.
