The use of the Onís anti bedsore mattress is recommended for the treatment of grade I bedsores, as well as for the prevention of bedsores in bedridden patients who are prone to bedsores due to their limited mobility. The fact that the mattress has ventilation holes prevents the skin from drying out, thus preventing maceration and the development of bedsores. The mattress should be in operation at all times while the user is in bed.
