Combix Paracetamol Efg 500 mg, 24 Capsules

It is a medicine formulated with 500 mg paracetamol, an active substance effective in reducing pain and fever. It is therefore used for the symptomatic relief of fever and occasional mild to moderate pain in people over 12 years of age and over 33 kg body weight.

It comes in a pack of 20 tablets.

Who itis intended for

Suitable for use inadults and adolescents aged 12 years and over and weighing more than 33 kg.

Instructions for use

The tablets should be swallowed whole or broken in half, with the aid of a liquid, preferably water.

The recommended dose varies according to the weight and age of the patient:

• Adolescents aged 12 years to 18 years (weight between 33 - 50 kg): administer 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, as needed, up to amaximum of 4 tablets per day.
• Over 18 years ofage: take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours , as needed, up to a maximum of6 tablets per day.Do not exceed 3 grams in 24 hours.

For patients with other pathologies:

• Patients with liver disease:they should take the amount of medicine prescribed by their doctor with a minimum interval between each intake of 8 hours. They should not take more than 2 grams (4 tablets) of paracetamol in 24 hours.
• Patients with kidney disease: they should take a maximum of 500 mg of paracetamol per dose .Depending on your illness, your doctor will tell you whether you should take your medicine at a minimum interval of 6 or 8 hours.
