Cinfa Ethyl Alcohol 96º 250 ml is an antiseptic product with the capacity to eradicate up to 75% of bacteria and germs found on any surface. As it is a purer alcohol, it tends to evaporate much faster. On the other hand, its disinfection capacity and its permanence on the skin or inert objects is less than that of 70 proof alcohol. However, it is very useful for asepsis of healthy skin before administering vaccines and injections. Also, this bactericidal product helps to keep surgical surfaces and instruments free of up to 75 % of the bacteria on them (antisepsis). In addition, it has a direct action that helps neutralise unpleasant odours. This ethyl alcohol or ethanol is not very effective in removing spores and is incompatible with anionic detergents.
