Cinfa Bucopro Orange Flavour 8,75 Mg, 16 tablets

Bucopro is a medicine whose active ingredient is flurprofen; it belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and, because of its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, it is indicated for cases of pain, irritation and inflammation of the throat.

This medicine is indicated for adults and children over 12 years of age.

Bucopro are lozenges to be taken by mouth. It is dissolved directly in the mouth, not swallowed or chewed. It can be moved while it dissolves like candy. The dosage is one tablet every 3 or 6 hours depending on the need or intensity of the pain, but not more than 5 tablets a day.

• Do not take this medicine for more than 3 days.
• If it does not improve, if it gets worse, or if new symptoms appear, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not take this medicine if you are in the last trimester of pregnancy.
• If you are in the first half of pregnancy or if you are breast-feeding, you should consult your doctor first.

Stop taking this medicine and consult a doctor immediately if you notice:

- Signs of an allergic reaction such as asthma, unexplained shortness of breath or wheezing, itching, runny nose, rash, etc.

- Swelling of the face, tongue or throat causing difficulty breathing, palpitations, drop in blood pressure causing shock (all these effects may occur even when the medicine is first used).

- Severe skin reactions such as peeling, blistering or flaking of the skin.

• If you have ever had asthma or have allergies.
• If you have tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils) or think you may have a bacterial throat infection (as you may need antibiotics).
• If you have heart, kidney or liver problems.
• If you have had a stroke.
• If you have a history of bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease).
• If you have hypertension (high blood pressure).
• If you have a chronic autoimmune disease (including systemic lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease).
• If you are an elderly patient, as you are more likely to experience the side effects described in this leaflet.
• If you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or are breast-feeding.
• If you have an analgesic-induced headache.

The active ingredient is:

• Flurbiprofen (8.75 mg).

The other ingredients (excipients) are: Isomalt (E953), Maltitol liquid (E965), Cochineal red (E 124), Orange yellow (E 110), Acesulfame potassium, Potassium hydroxide, Orange flavour (Limonene (50.0%-100%), Decanal (0.0%-10%), Citral, Citronellol (0.1%-1.0%)), Levomenthol.

It should not be taken for more than 3 days in a row, and should not exceed 5 tablets per day.
