Douxo Pyo Shampoo is a disinfectant shampoo for treating bacterial skin infections such as superficial and deep pyodermas and dermatitis. Its unique mild and hypoallergenic formula is designed for frequent and safe use. The Douxo Pyo line includes shampoo, foam and disinfectant cotton pads for a combined treatment.
Douxo Pyo is made with chlorhexidine, climbazole and phytosphingosine to help restore skin health. Chlorhexidine acts effectively against pathogenic bacteria, fungi and yeasts; climbazole is a powerful antifungal that supports chlorhexidine in the treatment of fungi; phytosphingosine is a natural component of the epidermis that, in cases of deficiency, can trigger skin disorders, bacteria and seborrhoeic dermatitis. In addition, the shampoo also contains Lipacide, which improves hydration and provides a strong and long-lasting protective layer on the skin.
