Casen Casenfibra Junior is a food supplement formulated with vegetable fibres (maltodextrin and frucotoligosaccharides). These fibres help to favourably modify the composition of the microflora of the small intestine, promoting better motility and relieving constipation. In addition to helping to lubricate the stool to facilitate its expulsion, it preserves the balance of the intestinal flora of children.

The high fibre content of this product helps to increase the volume of the stool, thus accelerating the intestinal response. This supplement can be taken on its own or combined with non-carbonated beverages such as milk, water or natural juices. It can also be ingested in semi-solid foods, such as creams or yoghurts, as it does not alter their taste, colour or texture. It does not contain milk protein, soya, sweeteners or gluten.

Casen Casenfibra Junior is indicated to help reverse episodes of constipation and intestinal discomfort in children from the first week of life. It can also be taken by pregnant women.

The form of administration of the product varies depending on the age of the child. In general, it is recommended to take the recommended daily dose of 5 to 15 ml per day by means of the dosage syringe. For newborn children, 5 ml should be administered up to the age of one year. For children from 1 to 2 years of age, administer approximately 10 ml. From 3 years of age, 15 ml should be consumed. In pregnant women, the maximum daily intake is 10 ml. Farmaciasdirect advises to increase fluid intake during the use of this vegetable fibre.

Do not take for three consecutive days. If constipation symptoms continue after the third day of treatment, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a specialist. Do not administer or ingest if intestinal obstruction is suspected. Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Safe for diabetics and coeliacs.
