What is Calthek used for?

Calthek is a medicine used to treat fever, malaise and mild to moderate pain.

Who can take Calthek 500 mg?

Calthek can be taken by adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over (if they weigh more than 33 kg).

How to take Calthek 500 mg, 20 tablets

Adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over should take 1 tablet of Calthek every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 3-5 tablets of paracetamol in a day.

Contraindications

Avoid and consult your doctor if you are taking anticoagulants, anti-epileptic drugs, anti-tuberculosis drugs, diuretics, antidepressants, cholesterol regulators, anti-emetics, antihypertensives, anti-arrhythmics. Consult your doctor in case of pregnancy or breast-feeding.

Side effects

Like all medicines, taking Calthek may cause side effects: malaise, hypotension, increased levels of transaminases in the blood, hypoglycaemia, blood disorders, jaundice, cloudy urine, kidney disease, skin reactions.

Precautions

A doctor should be consulted if Calthek can be taken in cases of renal, hepatic or cardiovascular pathologies. If symptoms persist or worsen, you should consult your doctor.
