Bisolgrip Forte Granulated Oral Solution 10 sachets

WHAT IS IT USED FOR? Bisolgrip Forte is a medicine indicated for the symptomatic relief of flu and the common cold in adults and adolescents aged 15 and over. It acts on several symptoms at once: it reduces fever, relieves mild to moderate pain (headache, muscle ache or sore throat), clears a blocked nose and reduces nasal discharge and a runny nose. COMPOSITION Each sachet contains three active ingredients: paracetamol 650 mg (analgesic and antipyretic), phenylephrine bitartrate 15.58 mg —equivalent to 8.21 mg of phenylephrine— (nasal decongestant) and chlorphenamine maleate 4 mg —equivalent to 2.8 mg of chlorphenamine— (an antihistamine that reduces nasal discharge, sneezing and watery eyes). Excipients: mannitol (E-421), sodium saccharin, anhydrous colloidal silica, orange flavouring (contains maltodextrin derived from maize starch) and povidone. DIRECTIONS FOR USE For oral use. Dissolve the contents of one sachet completely in a small amount of liquid, preferably half a glass of water, and drink immediately. Always take the lowest effective dose and only for as long as symptoms persist; stop treatment once symptoms have disappeared. Please refer to the package leaflet for the exact dosage and dosing interval. WARNINGS Contraindicated in children under 15 years of age. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have glaucoma, severe heart or arterial disease, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, urinary retention or pheochromocytoma, or if you are being treated with tricyclic antidepressants or beta-blockers. Do not take together with other medicines containing paracetamol. Regular alcohol consumption increases the risk of liver damage. If the fever lasts for more than 3 days, or the pain or other symptoms last for more than 5 days, or if they worsen, consult your doctor. Read the package leaflet before using this medicine.
