Beaphar Fiprotec Spot On Cat is a veterinary medicinal product in the form of a spot-on solution for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations in cats. Each 0.5 ml pipette contains 50 mg Fipronil.
Beaphar Fiprotec Spot On Cat 4 Pip x 0.5 ml is a topical veterinary medicinal product indicated for cats. Its main function is the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) and the treatment of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus).
Each 0.5 ml pipette contains 50.0 mg Fipronil, an active ingredient that acts on the nervous system of the parasites and kills them in a short time. In addition, it contains excipients such as butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene and benzyl alcohol which help to stabilise and preserve the medicine.
This product is indicated for cats over 8 weeks of age and/or weighing more than 1 kg with flea (Ctenocephalides felis) and/or tick (Ixodes ricinus) infestation. During use, it helps to eliminate parasites within 48 hours and leaves a residue that protects the animal for at least 5 weeks against fleas.
Beaphar Fiprotec Spot On Cat 4 Pip x 0.5 ml is easy to use. It is based on applying the contents of a pipette directly to the skin of the animal, separating the hair so that the medicine has better contact with the skin. To do this, remove the pipette from the container, cut off the tip with a pair of scissors and empty the contents into a single spot on the cat's skin.
It is important to ensure that the medication is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick itself, and to prevent the animals from licking each other after treatment. Caution should be exercised and contact with the animal's eyes should be avoided. In case of accidental contact, wash them immediately with plenty of water. It is advisable to consult your veterinarian before use.
Do not use in kittens under 8 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 1 kg, sick or convalescent animals or rabbits. Avoid use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Use in animals other than the target species is also not recommended. In addition, the use of shampoos and baths on the animal should be avoided, as their efficacy has not been proven.
