The Canishield® 0.77gr collar for small and medium-sized dogs provides long-lasting triple protection against parasites. It kills and repels the mosquito that transmits leishmaniasis (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for 5.5 months; Kills ticks (Ixodes ricinus) for 6 months; Kills fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) for 16 weeks.

It is suitable for dogs from 7 weeks of age. In addition, the collar is odourless and water resistant and is safe and easy to fit thanks to its adjustable strap. Deltamethrin, the active substance contained in the collar, is constantly released by the collar rubbing against the dog's neck. It forms a uniform protective barrier over the entire body of the animal through the lipid layer of the skin.

The active substance never enters the dog's bloodstream. When fleas, ticks or sandflies come into contact with Deltamethrin, they are quickly paralysed and killed. Although as temperatures rise, parasites proliferate in the environment, the animal should be protected all year round. For best protection it is recommended to apply Beaphar Canishield® before the full season of parasite infestations.
