The nappy area of babies is often exposed to irritation and redness, due to prolonged contact with urine and faeces. This can be aggravated by friction, occlusion and increased pH in the area. That is why BE-Pediatrics water-based paste is formulated to help provide protection for the most sensitive skin. One of the product's main active ingredients is zinc oxide, which creates a protective insulating film that absorbs moisture from the skin, keeping it dry. It also contains linseed extract that soothes and restores irritated skin, glycerin that moisturises the dermis and other active ingredients that neutralise the digestive enzymes present in urine and faeces that cause irritation in this area. It also contains vitamin F, which helps redness to disappear once it appears.
