Astrilax is an antihistamine medicine used to treat the mild symptoms characteristic of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and allergic rhinitis.
Astrilax is a medicine that can be taken by adults and children from 12 years of age who have symptoms characteristic of allergy.
Astrilax is an oral medicine, i.e. it must be taken by mouth. In this case, as it is a flash tablet, it should be allowed to dissolve on the tongue. Take 1 tablet a day, always on an empty stomach, i.e. 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal, and always avoid fruit juices. The treatment should be taken for a maximum of 7 days. If symptoms persist or worsen, you should consult your doctor.
Do not take Astrilax if you are allergic or hypersensitive to its active substance and/or its excipients. It must not be administered to children under 12 years of age. Astrilax should not be taken with grapefruit juice or other fruit juices. Do not take during pregnancy and lactation.
As with any medicine, Astrilax may cause side effects, the most common of which are drowsiness and headache; although, more rarely and less frequently, gastrointestinal, respiratory or skin disorders may also occur.
Before taking Astrilax, consult your doctor if you have kidney failure, cardiovascular system disorders or low blood levels of minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium). Consult your doctor if you are being treated with ketoconazole, erythromycin, diltiazem, cyclosporine, ritonavir, rifampicin. Pay special attention when driving or using machines, as it may cause drowsiness.
