Aristo Menocalm Menopause 30 capsules

ARISTO Menocalm menopause is a food supplement developed by Aristo Pharma Iberia laboratories. It is made from hop extract which is rich in prenylated isoflavonoids. It helps to reduce the severity of the symptoms suffered during the menopause.

It is recommended mainly for physical symptoms, such as hot flushes and sweating, and for psychological disturbances caused by hormonal change, such as irritability and nervousness. Hops help to stabilise the nervous system and improve sleep.

Its formulation is free from excipients, gluten and dairy derivatives, but it does contain sucrose. It is therefore suitable for coeliacs and lactose intolerant people. However, its consumption is not recommended for diabetics, as it may unbalance their glycaemic control.

The 8-prenylnaringenin (isoflavonoid) contained in hops extract acts directly on the alpha and beta oestrogen receptors, which are responsible for the hormonal changes experienced during the menopause. These are located in the hypothalamus and central nervous system.

In addition to isoflavonoids, hops also contain bitter acids which are responsible for relaxing the agitated or irritated nervous system, restoring its balance and healthy state.
