Aposan Alcohol 96º with Benzalkonium Chloride 250 ml

Aposan alcohol 96°, reinforced with benzalkonium chloride, is a colourless, volatile solution with a characteristic pungent odour. It can be mixed with water and is flammable. It is an effective disinfectant that should not be missing in the home. Useful in asepsis of the skin of the body and for healing the navel of newborn children.

Aposan alcohol is very effective in destroying viruses and bacteria in the epidermis, and in preparing the skin before an injection or a small local intervention. It should not be applied to mucous membranes, eyes, or large areas of skin.

It can be used as a preservative and astringent, as well as to dilute some ingredients in cosmetics and natural care products. This alcohol is enriched with benzalkonium chloride which has virucidal, bactericidal, disinfectant and antiseptic properties.

It acts effectively against bacteria such as streptococcus and staphylococcus aures, as it has the ability to break down their essential cellular proteins and rupture their membranes. The synergistic combination of these two components results in a high quality alcohol. Contributes to sterilising surgical materials and disinfecting contaminated surfaces.

Comes in a plastic bottle with a special nozzle for easy and convenient application. Should not be exposed to sources of flames or sparks. It is indispensable in times of high virus contagion such as flu or respiratory diseases caused by low temperatures and heavy rains.

Mixed with a little lavender oil, it helps to reduce the proliferation of lice in children. For best results when used as a disinfectant, it should be applied and left on the area for 2 or 3 minutes to give it more time to work. It is also not suitable for use in the mouth or ears.
