Tryptophan with magnesium + vitamin B6 is a food supplement based on magnesium, L-tryptophan and vitamin B6. L-tryptophan is an amino acid found in the chains that make up proteins and, like any other amino acid, is actively involved in protein formation. It is obtained from foods such as milk, eggs, fish, nuts, etc. In normal situations, this intake from these foods would be sufficient, but what happens when we are tired, drooping, apathetic or lacking in concentration? Well, then we need an additional supply of tryptophan. L-tryptophan is an amino acid from which we form serotonin, the neurotransmitter that gives us calm and serenity, and which is responsible for regulating mood, anger, stress, anxiety, appetite, sexual desire and body temperature, among many other processes. L-tryptophan is also involved in the formation of melatonin, the hormone that enables us to get a good night's sleep. Magnesium, like vitamin B6, helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue and contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function and normal energy metabolism. Take two tablets a day, divided between lunch and dinner. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Average contents per daily dose of 2 tablets (1.71 g): L-tryptophan 570 mg, magnesium 145 mg (39% NRV*), vitamin B6 1.4 mg (99% NRV*). Not to be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women, or by people being treated with antidepressants or suffering from renal insufficiency.
