Hypertonic Aluneb is a 3% hypertonic saline solution used as an adjuvant in the treatment of various respiratory conditions. This solution helps to free the nose of excess mucus and promotes the elimination of nasal secretions. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, Aluneb Hypertonic moisturises and facilitates the elimination of mucus and allergens from the upper respiratory tract. In addition, it can be helpful in regulating mucociliary clearance and relieving symptoms related to inflammatory, allergenic and environmental factors. This product also creates a protective and moisturising layer that has an important barrier effect and aids in post-surgical healing of the nasal mucosa. It contains Xylitol, which helps to thin the mucus and reduces bacterial adhesion capacity, helping to reduce episodes of otitis media, rhinitis and sinusitis. Hypertonic Aluneb moisturises the airways and stimulates mucociliary clearance, making it easier for infants to breathe, feed and sleep. It can also be used in aerosol therapy and as an adjuvant in the treatment of bronchiolitis, and even to dilute medicines.
