What is Aktivait for small breeds?

A food supplement that helps to delay brain ageing in dogs. Helps to reduce the loss of mental function and activity levels. Manufactured by Vet Plus Laboratories.

As animals age, the brain begins to be attacked by damaging free radicals, causing biological and physical damage to brain tissues. This causes behavioural changes in the animals such as disorientation, altered sleep patterns, reduced interaction with family members, loss of vitality, etc. In healthy young animals this process is in balance as they naturally contain sufficient antioxidants to neutralise free radicals. With age, more free radicals are produced but the amount of natural antioxidants decreases.

Composition

Aktivait contains tribasic calcium phosphate, pig liver meal, algae oil(Aurantiochytrium sp), yeast, dried cassava, magnesium sterate, maltodextrin, salt, fructose, calcium carbonate.
