Adulax is a rectal medicine with a laxative action due to glycerol, whose function is to soften the stool and stimulate bowel movements through mild irritation. It is therefore indicated for the relief of symptoms of transitory and occasional constipation.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Apply up to 1 enema per day, when needed.
Do not use Adulax Rectal Solution:
In children under 12 years of age.
If you suffer from anorectal disease, haemorrhagic rectocolitis or inflamed haemorrhoids.
If you suffer from abdominal pain without knowing the cause.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding and have not previously consulted a doctor.
Like all medicines, Adulax can cause side effects, but this does not mean that everybody will experience them. In this case, the following side effects have been observed
Common side effects: anal itching, anal pain, anal irritation.
Adulax Rectal Solution contains glycerol as the active substance. Specifically, each pack contains 7.5 g of glycerol. The other excipients are: purified water.
Adulax is a medicine in the form of a rectal solution in the form of filled enemas, fitted with a cannula and closed with a cap.
It is for rectal use only. For correct application it is necessary to apply it in an upright position.
Do not use this medicine for more than 7 days.
