What is it and what is it for?

Accu-Chek Softclix Ii Lancets 25 Und are used for lancing and measuring blood glucose levels by capillary blood sampling. These small instruments are ideal for blood glucose testing by lancing. In this way, they help to maintain health control. They have ultra-small, thin gauge (28 gauge), bevel-cut needles that provide a smoother entry into the bulb of the finger (preferably the index finger), thus reducing discomfort or pain while lancing. In this way, small blood samples are obtained for blood sugar measurement and assessment.

The lancets are sterile and must be disposed of after use. The lancets have 11 depth settings depending on skin thickness and precision-guided technology for safe and fast collection. In addition, their puncture system makes testing much easier and more comfortable.

These instruments should preferably be used with the Softclix lancing device which is not included in the package. On the other hand, the small blood samples obtained can also be tested to measure haemoglobin, as well as for allergy testing and analysis of various blood components. Each lancet measures 7.7 x 5.7 x 4.9 inches and weighs 2.4 ounces.

Who is it for?

Accu-Chek Softclix Ii Lancets are indicated for capillary blood sampling to assess or monitor daily blood glucose levels in diabetics.

Instructions for use

Farmaciasdirect recommends testing with the Softclix lancing device after inserting the lancet into the lancet. Then, press the push button that triggers the spring of the device and the lancet will make a small puncture on the bulb of the finger. Afterwards, gently squeeze the finger to obtain the drop of blood that should be introduced into the glucometer to obtain the results. Daily monitoring is recommended for diabetics to avoid possible problems.

Contraindications

Do not reuse the instrument after puncture. Do not store in places with heat sources. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid direct contact with eyes.

Composition
