It is a hypoallergenic product that can easily adhere to moist skin and does not allow the passage of external pathogens that can infect the wound. They are waterproof, latex-free and skin-friendly, as they do not cause irritation and promote perspiration.

On the other hand, adhesive plasters maintain a moist microenvironment in the wound, which promotes the formation of new tissue and can accelerate the healing process. They also protect them from the sun's rays to prevent the formation of overly visible scars. When wounds are left to air dry, crusts form, making it difficult for them to close on their own and for new epithelial tissue to form. Covering small injuries and skin cuts with these sterile dressings keeps them flexible and allows for greater mobility, especially when they are located on joints such as the elbow and knee.

It is also important to note that dressing changes will be minimally painful, as no newly formed tissue will be dislodged.
