Keto Bar is a protein bar suitable for ketogenic diets, formulated with 44% - 49% fat, 25% protein, between 1 and 2 grams of net carbohydrate per bar and less than 1g of sugar.
The Keto Bar formula keeps blood sugar and insulin levels low so the body can easily access stored fats for energy, thus maintaining a state of ketosis for longer.
Keto Bar's nutritional profile makes it a satiating bar that promotes metabolic flexibility due to its high fat and low carbohydrate content, thus improving mental clarity, digestive function and moving away from dependence on carbohydrate consumption and the insulin peaks that these generate.
Keto Bar is composed of:
MCTs from coconut which provides quality fatty acids to avoid drawing on glycogen stores both during exercise and during the day. It provides continuous energy during prolonged exercise and helps reduce lactate build-up.
Pea protein, with a high proportion of both essential and non-essential amino acids. It is highly bioavailable and digestible, optimises tissue formation and tones muscles.
Cocoa butter, which gives it a creamy texture as it is the fat obtained directly from cocoa beans.
