GIROVET

In February 1979, the first company was founded in Spain to offer a comprehensive equine service with the distribution of veterinary medicines, nutritional supplements and equine veterinary equipment and instruments for the health, performance and care of the horse. It was the beginning of GIROVET, with a wide range of the latest research products in a market, at that time, without great economic resources and lacking in equestrian culture.

Those responsible for the company remember that, as in almost all businesses, the beginnings were hard. Initially, GIROVET spent six months of each financial year working in Spain and Portugal and the rest of the time in France.

In 1987, the company moved to its current offices and warehouses in Sant Gregori, in the province of Girona, to offer better logistical and commercial coverage to its customers in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy.

Nowadays, in order to provide a better service to its customers, GIROVET has distribution points all over the country, with highly qualified staff to present and explain to each customer the best solutions, indicating the most suitable products. "Nowadays we must be very close to our customers in order to advise them correctly".

GIROVET 's customers are mainly veterinarians, farriers, trainers and horse professionals. The market is becoming more and more professional, so a company of this profile has to offer high quality products, but at reasonable prices. For this reason, GIROVET has veterinary sales representatives, equestrian shops and equestrian stores with a large stock of products to satisfy the most demanding needs.
