Weleda Perineal Oil is used for regular massage from the 34th week of pregnancy to help give flexibility to the perineal tissue so that the woman can give birth without an episiotomy. With a 100% natural, fragrance-free formula developed specifically for the intimate area, regular massage with Perineal Massage Oil relaxes the skin of the perineum leaving it more supple and well prepared for childbirth.
This product increases elasticity due to its composition of Sweet Almond oil and Wheat Germ oil, rich in Vitamin E. They are almost odourless and colourless, very soft and delicate oils that are very well tolerated by the skin and quickly absorbed. At the same time, due to their high content of essential fatty acids they protect the skin from dryness and improve its function as a protective layer, keeping it smooth and supple.
This oil does not contain any type of perfume that could cause irritation in the perineal area. In addition, its texture is soft and easily absorbed, which enhances the action of the active agents it contains.
