INFO AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Medela Harmony Silicone Diaphragm is a spare part for the manual breast pump that assists in the suction of breast milk. It is made of silicone, a material that can be easily cleaned and sterilised.

This diaphragm joins the two parts of the pump, which are the milk collection system and the valve that exerts the pressure. It has a hole in the middle that allows suction, but prevents the milk from flowing into the pump. The advantage of this is that the milk will not obstruct the pump and will always flow directly into the bottle.

This product has the ability to completely isolate the inside of the pump from the environment. This is how breast milk can be obtained by simulating the infant's sucking. If the diaphragm did not work in this way, no pressure would be exerted on the breast and the milk would not come out at all.

Silicone is a soft and very flexible material. As the product will have constant friction with the pressure pump, this is very important. The reason for this is because it will not wear out easily with the friction that is generated.
