KELO-COTE® Gel is used for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars caused by burns, surgical interventions and trauma wounds. KELO-COTE® flattens, softens and smoothes scars, reduces discolouration and relieves the pain, discomfort and itching associated with scars and creates a protective barrier against chemical, physical and microbial invasion of the scar, while contributing to its hydration. KELO-COTE® forms a flexible, transparent, odourless, water-resistant layer creating an environment that allows the scar to mature through the normal process of collagen synthesis. Once the gel dries, sunscreen or make-up can be applied over the scars.
