Brudy Plus is designed to supplement the daily requirement of essential fatty acids from the omega-3 family. Brudy has developed and patented a unique source of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA): Tricosahexaenoin-AOX®. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid necessary for normal brain and eye function. This benefit is obtained by ingesting 250 mg of DHA daily. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and DHA contribute to normal heart function. This benefit is obtained with the intake of 250 mg per day of DHA and EPA. DHA contributes to normal brain and visual development of the foetus and breastfed infants. These benefits are obtained in pregnant or breastfeeding women with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the 250 mg daily recommended for adults.
