TANIT

Tanit is a brand created by Laboratorios Viñas to provide a solution to skin problems related to discolouration and depigmentation. The company has focused its efforts on the research of lotions and cream protections that offer a double action: recolouring and protective. The skin itself has a constitutive colour, a base colour determined by genetic inheritance and which depends on the type and quantity of melanin it contains. Melanin is a set of pigments which, in addition to giving the skin its characteristic colour, serves to protect it from solar radiation. When the production of this melanin is progressive and homogeneous, we speak of tanning, but if it is distributed in abnormal quantities, skin spots such as lentigines or melasma appear. Avoiding this depends on reducing exposure to the sun as much as possible or protecting oneself adequately.

In cases where spots have already appeared, the only remedy is to use products that moisturise, exfoliate, depigment and, at the same time, protect the affected tissue from the sun's harmful radiation.
