SAWES

Sawes is a brand that uses different production lines in order to successfully offer various quality products to improve people's health. Sawes was founded in 1972 by Luis Vives, a pharmacist from Barcelona who founded the company. Its products are distributed hand in hand with the pharmaceutical sector to include the collaboration and guarantee of a highly professional staff. The company stands out for its human value; its employees are considered to be Sawes' most valuable asset.

The company made its way in the market among sweets and candies. Firstly, with the creation of sugared sweets in blister packs (now only sugar-free sweets are produced) and, a year later, with the sale of liquorice. The company was entirely dependent on the sale of these products. In 1986, Sawes was the first company in Spain to introduce sugar-free sweets to the market. Years after the candy industry, with the help of pharmaceutical collaborators such as Luis Ucelay, the company began to work on a line of high pharmaceutical cosmetics. Sawes launched Fito Cold, a leg cream, and ACILAC, a body milk.

The company has expanded the range of its products but its business activity continues to value the same founding principles that inspired its creation: Quality, Health, Flavour. Its quality objectives are based on research and innovation as the driving force behind the creation of all its products, always aimed at demanding consumers who seek to take care of something as important as their health. Sawes is the leader in the Spanish market and intends to expand its field of action by establishing itself in other European Union countries, and even expand into the American market.
