HALITA

Halita is a treatment to combat halitosis, a fairly common problem that has troubled up to 90% of the population at one time or another. It stands out for having scientifically proven its efficacy through numerous studies.

Halitosis or popularly known as bad breath is the emission of bad odour through the mouth. It is a more common problem than many people think, as it is estimated that around 30% of the adult population has suffered from halitosis at some point. Although there are various reasons that can cause this bad smell, the main cause is the accumulation of bacterial plaque on the tongue and gums or the appearance of caries. It is necessary to clarify the difference between halitosis and bad breath. Halitosis occurs over a continuous period of time and is a fairly common cause. On the other hand, bad breath is usually temporary and is caused by the ingestion of certain foods or habits that contribute to it, such as garlic, onions or tobacco, among others.
