Kamisan Ofta Gauze for periocular hygiene in adults and children, 28 units, is a medical device that helps to clean secretions and other residual particles. Recommended for use during ophthalmic post-surgical procedures. For single use only, not reusable.

This type of gauze can be used very easily in case of inflammations, infections, allergies and excess ocular secretions. It has been designed with cotton soaked with water and other active ingredients that provide antiseptic, emollient and soothing properties. Made to be used as a hot or cold compress depending on the user's needs.

Its application helps to clean and care for the periocular area (forehead, eyebrows, eyelids), which tends to be very soft and fine but vulnerable due to its scarce dermal support. It protects and facilitates the reduction of external agents and other polluting environmental residues.

It is indicated for the care and cleansing of the periocular area in case of inflammations, allergies, infections and post-operative procedures. Recommended for use by adults and children.

Carefully wash hands, open the sachet and proceed to remove the gauze. Gently wipe the periocular area. You can wring out the gauze in the closed eye and then tilt the head and massage gently to remove the residue.

In the particular case of the lacrimal canal, where secretions are usually persistent, it is advisable to place the closed envelope in hot water for a few minutes beforehand (temperature approximately 40 °C) and then clean by massaging very gently.

If there is inflammation, it is recommended to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator a few hours beforehand and then apply the gauze as a cold compress to the periocular area.

Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use immediately if any unfavourable reaction (irritation or hypersensitivity) is observed.

For external use only. The sterility of the product is only guaranteed if the container is tightly closed and undamaged. Please note that the shelf life of the product is 3 years.
